I turned 30 on 21st October, 2021. I thought of sharing 30 points about myself. Would love to see such lists from you too! Please do share it with me!

1. I love to dance. Beats matter. Not the lyrics.

2. Never Let Me Go is one of my all time favourite films.

3. I enjoy watching medical dramas like Greys Anatomy and The Good Doctor because I think medicine is fascinating.

4. The first book I read after moving to a hostel (in 2009) was PS I love you by Cecelia Ahern.

5. I don’t like rain.

6. I have no formal training in writing or literature.

7. Ferraro Rocher is one of my favourite chocolates.

8. I get nightmares of not returning a library book on time and having to pay a huge fine though its been ages since I borrowed a book from a library.

9. I always wanted to have a book published by 30, and after many rejections and setbacks, my debut poetry chapbook was published on August 2021 by Yavanika Press.

10. I’m very very close to my family.

11. My middle name is Wendy and many people have called me Windy.

12. My younger brother once got rid of a bully by saying that his sister (me) has a blog and that I would expose the bully on my blog.

13. I love amusement parks.

14. Courage the Cowardly Dog is one of my favourite cartoons.

15. Reading Goosebumps by R.L.Stine was the highlight of my school days.

16. I had a big Barbie doll collection as a kid.

17. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do bungee jumping. Not afraid of heights but it looks pretty scary.

18. I’m the happiest when I write.

19. I cry when I receive acceptances from my dream mags

20. In school, I thought poetry had to rhyme.

21. My favourite hangout during my MBA days in Bangalore was Atta Galatta, the book cafe in Koramangala.

22. I haven't watched a single Star Trek or Star Wars episode.

23. A Separation by Asghar Farhadi is one of my favourite domestic dramas in a foreign language

24. The film The Boy in Striped Pyjamas left me disturbed for days.

25. I’m obsessed with second person narration.

26. I only drink tea and water on a regular basis.

27. My JBL bluetooth speaker is my most priced possession after my phone and my laptop.

28. I’ve spent most of my life browsing literary magazines.

29. I was a premature baby.

30. I wear slippers at home.
