I’m Michelle D’costa, a writer, editor, and creative writing mentor from Mumbai.
My poetry chapbook Gulf was published by Yavanika Press in 2021.It is available in India and the US.
I co-host the author interview podcast Books and Beyond with Bound which has over 2.5 million listens in over 140 countries.
I have previously edited fiction for Jaggery, A South Asian literary journal based in Chicago. I founded the literary magazine Kaani in 2018.
My prose and poetry have been published in over 70 journals like Berfrois, Out Of Print, Eclectica, Litro UK, Queen Mob’s Teahouse, The Bombay Literary Magazine, and more. Most recently, my writing was longlisted for the TOTO Award For Creative Writing 2021.
I love to mentor writers and conduct writing workshops.
I enjoy drinking tea, doodling, and dancing.
